John McClung and Rebecca Stuart were Scotch Irish immigrants who came to the American Colonies in search of a better life.  They married in 1726 in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania Colony, and moved onto the western borders of Virginia Colony, near the Natural Bridge.  This book is the biography of their lives, which were lived during the French and Indian War and the Revolutionary War.  They, and their ten children, exemplify the American Spirit.  The back of the book contains an appendix with genealogical records of John and Rebecca and their children.  It is a must have for anyone researching their McClung ancestors.
